Return and Refund Policy

At Localservicewala, we strive to provide high-quality computer hardware and reliable repair services. If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase or service, we are here to help.

 

Computer Hardware & Spare Parts
 
Items purchased from our store (RAM, SSDs, Keyboards, Mouse, etc.) are eligible for return or exchange under the following conditions:
  • Return Window: Items must be returned within 7 days of purchase/delivery.
  • Condition: Products must be unused, in the original packaging, and include all manuals/accessories.
  • Proof of Purchase: A valid tax invoice is mandatory for all returns.
  • Non-Returnable Items:
    • Software or activated license keys.
    • Items with physical damage or tampered serial numbers.
    • Consumables (e.g., thermal paste, cleaning kits) once opened.
 

 
Computer Repair Services
 
We stand behind the quality of our technical work.
  • Service Warranty: All repairs come with a 30-day labor warranty from the date of service.
  • Scope: This warranty covers the specific issue we repaired. It does not cover new faults or issues caused by liquid damage/physical drops after the repair.
  • Refunds on Service: Diagnostic fees are non-refundable. If a repair fails within the warranty period and we cannot fix it, a refund for the labor charge will be issued.
 

 
Refund Process
 
Once we receive and inspect your returned item or verify a service claim:
  • Inspection: We will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
  • Method: Approved refunds are processed via the original payment method or UPI/Bank Transfer within 5-7 working days.
  • Shipping Costs: Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item arrived damaged or the wrong part was sent.
 

 
Cancellations
  • Orders: You can cancel a hardware order before it is dispatched for a full refund.
  • Service Visits: Please cancel or reschedule at least 2 hours before the scheduled technician visit to avoid a nominal visiting charge.
Return & Service Timelines
 
1. Spare Parts & Hardware (e.g., SSD, RAM, Battery)
  • Return Window: 7 Days from the date of delivery/purchase.
  • Reporting Damage: Dead-on-Arrival (DOA) or physical damage must be reported within 24–48 hours of receipt.
  • Acceptance Timing: Returns are accepted during your business hours (e.g., 10 AM to 7 PM).
 
2. Computer Repair Services
  • Service Warranty: 30 Days labor warranty on the specific repair performed.
  • Technician Visit Cancellation: Cancel at least 2 hours before the scheduled time to avoid a visiting fee.
  • Testing Period: We recommend testing your repaired device for at least 3 days to ensure the issue is fully resolved.
3. Refund Processing
  • Inspection: Once we receive the product, it will be inspected within 2 working days.
  • Credit Timeline: Approved refunds will reflect in your account within 5–7 business days (for online payments) or via UPI/Bank Transfer for Cash on Delivery.
     
 

 
🛠️ Conditions for Acceptance
 
To ensure your return is accepted, the product must meet these criteria:
  • 📦 Original Packaging: Must include the brand box, manuals, and all accessories (like screws or cables).
  • 🏷️ Unbroken Seals: Warranty stickers and “Tamper Evident” seals must be intact.
  • 🧾 Valid Invoice: A copy of the LocalServiceWala tax invoice must be provided.
  • ❌ No Physical Damage: Items with burnt circuits, bent pins, or liquid damage caused after delivery will not be accepted.
     

 
🚫 Non-Returnable Items
 
The following cannot be returned once the seal is broken or service is completed:
  • Activated Software: Any Windows or Antivirus keys once redeemed.
  • Consumables: Thermal paste, CMOS batteries, or cleaning liquids.
  • Installed Parts: Parts like screens or keyboards that have been permanently fitted to a laptop (unless they are defective).
